The Cincinnati Bengals swapped Joe Mixon for Zack Moss this offseason, and so far, the results have been pretty encouraging.
Moss has been THE guy for the Bengals. While the numbers aren't staggeringly high, there's a lot to like when it comes to the Bengals RB's fantasy projection. But with a Monday Night Football matchup with the Washington Commanders on the horizon, will the Bengals continue to have Moss involved?

Zack Moss fantasy projection for Week 3
In the Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Moss had 12 carries for 34 yards. Those aren't elite numbers, but the Bengals clearly trusted him enough to hand him the ball that often. His high usage is a strong sign that Moss will deliver sooner rather than later.
Week 3's matchup with the Commanders is also a favorable one for Moss. Dan Quinn hasn't ironed out the wrinkles in the Commanders' run defense just yet, and they have proven to be a little susceptible through two weeks of football.
It's a favorable game script, and the Bengals seem to have enough trust in Moss to get him involved in the end zone. He doesn't quite have RB1 potential, but if you're looking for an RB2, Moss is your man this week.
D'Andre Swift fantasy projection for Week 3
The expectation was that this new-look Bears offense would be entertaining to watch this year. But we're two weeks in and yet to see any significantly positive sign regarding the direction of the offense.
Swift's usage has also been a little erratic. In the Week 1 win over the Titans, he had 10 carries for 30 yards. In Week 2, he had 14 carries for 18 yards. Entering Week 3, Swift is RB39 per FantasyPros but averages 68% of the snaps, 14 touches and 36 total yards per game.
The only positive sign for Swift this week is that the Colts' run defense will give him opportunities to make plays. The counterpoint to that is Swift will likely have to split reps with Khalil Herbert. We've also not seen Caleb Williams sling it all that much, so Week 3 could also be a matchup where they lean a little pass-heavy to inspire some confidence in their rookie quarterback.
Zack Moss vs D'Andre Swift: Final verdict
There's not a lot to like when it comes to Swift's fantasy projection this week. The Bears have shown little on offense to inspire any confidence from fantasy owners.
Zack Moss also has the better matchup and game script this week. Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start tool projects an 11-point return from Moss in Week 3. If you have the option, steer clear of Swift.
