The 2-3 Las Vegas Raiders will go up against arguably the best defense in the National Football League this week when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Allegiant Stadium.
The Raiders sit last in the AFC West with a 2-3 record, trailing the 2-2 Los Angeles Chargers, who were on a bye last week. With Davante Adams out injured, the Raiders will need all the support they can get against the Steelers, but it appears they may have to work around the absence of their starting running back, Zamir White.
Zamir White's injury update for Week 6
The Raiders held a practice session on Wednesday but some players did not suit up. Three names in particular are major concerns for the Raiders: Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby and Zamir White.

White didn't suit up in Week 5, when the Raiders fell to a 34-18 defeat to the Denver Broncos.
White was once again a DNP during Wednesday's practice session with the Raiders running back nursing a groin injury. While White hasn't been ruled out of Week 6 vs Pittsburgh just yet, if he's held out of practice on Thursday and Friday, we are unlikely to see him take the field on Sunday.
In White's absence, coach Antonio Pierce will have to turn to Alexander Mattison to carry the workload. Prior to Week 5, Pierce noted that he was impressed with Mattison, saying:
"He’s deserved more reps, and he’ll get them.”
Mattison didn't have the most productive afternoon against a tough Denver defense last Sunday. He rushed 15 times for a mere 38 yards.
Las Vegas Raiders injury report for Week 6
Star wide receiver Davante Adams has already been ruled out of Week 6 vs the Steelers owing to a hamstring injury. The All-Pro WR also submitted a trade request last week so it is possible that this could be his last week with the franchise.
Elsewhere, Maxx Crosby was a DNP in practice on Wednesday, while tight end Michael Mayer is away from the team due to personal reasons. Raiders beat reporter Vic Tafur noted that WR Jakobi Meyers also didn't suit up on Wednesday but "seems fine."
