Alexa Pano's Early Life and Background

Pano's parents separated while she was a small child, and she was born in Westborough, Massachusetts, on August 20, 2004. Since then, she has resided in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, with her father, Rick, and started playing golf at the age of five.

Filming for “The Short Game,” a 2013 documentary film, took place at the 2012 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship with Pano, who was seven years old at the time, and some other golfers, Allan Kournikova and Sky Sudberry.

By that time, she was attending Citrus Cove Elementary School only in the mornings, using Florida Virtual School for the rest of her schoolwork so she could concentrate on her golf.
