Aryaman Birla Biography
Aryaman Birla is an Indian cricketer who was born on July 9, 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to the family of Kumar Mangalam Birla, the chairman of Aditya Birla group.
He is a left- handed batsman who can also bowl a bit of left arm spin.
Background
Aryaman was born in Mumbai but due to the presence of big names already in the Mumbai team, he decided to move to Madhya Pradesh to pursue his domestic career. In the only match that he played in the 2017-18 Ranji trophy, he scored 22 runs with the bat and went wicket less while bowl.
Rise to glory
Aryaman 's best performances came for Madhya Pradesh after which he came into the limelight.
He didn't start well but later his talent was recognized when he amassed 602 runs in which there were two centuries (153 and 137).
In those 602 runs, there was also a brilliant knock of 236 runs which came against Chhattisgarh. During that time, he also chipped in 10 wickets which showed his all round abilities.
He was India’s highest run getter in the Polly Umrigar trophy where he also scored a hundred.
His major performances came in the T20s making him best fitted to this format.
Club career
His quick run scoring abilities and part time bowling earned him a call during the 2018 IPL auctions from Rajasthan Royals for 30 lakh rupees.
