He has represented a number of teams, including the Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Central Zone, Vidarbha, and India. In 2022, he played his first international match against Nepal in the commonwealth games 2023.
Jitesh Sharma Domestic Career
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) season of 2013–14, Jitesh made his Vidarbha team debut owing to his impressive Cooch Behar Trophy exploits.
In February 2014, Sharma made his List-A debut at Jaipur against Rajasthan. For Vidarbha's first few seasons, he was a leading player. But Sharma's career took a significant turn in 2015–16 when he performed extremely well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Amaravati-born batsman scored 343 runs at a 143 strike rate, which included a century and two half-centuries. The Mumbai Indians (MI) scouting unit saw Jitesh's outstanding performance in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and acquired him in the 2016 IPL auction for INR 10 lakhs.
With 298 runs in seven games, he was Vidarbha's top run scorer in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He also participated in the P. Sen Trophy with Bhawanipore Club.
