Lalit Yadav is an Indian Cricketer born on 3rd January 1997 in the city of Delhi. He is an all-rounder known for scoring runs in the middle order and picking up some vital wickets with his right-arm off-spin bowling.
Career
Domestic Career
Lalit Yadav plays domestic cricket for the Delhi team. He received his maiden first-class cap against Maharashtra at Delhi on November 17, 2017. Lalit scored a half-century on debut for Delhi and his contribution helped his team finish with 419 runs on the board in the first innings. Yadav then took two wickets in two innings and contributed his bit in Delhi’s innings victory.
Talking about his List-A debut, Lalit Yadav played his first List-A match against Himachal Pradesh at Nadaun on February 15, 2018. Yadav bowled a tidy spell of 0/49 in his 10 overs. He could not contribute much with the willow as Lalit lost his wicket after scoring two runs off nine deliveries. Delhi lost that game by just two runs.
One month before his List-A debut, Lalit Yadav received a place in the Delhi T20 team for the first time. He returned with figures of 1/32 on T20 debut and remained unbeaten on 15* off 10 deliveries in the second innings. Unfortunately, Delhi lost that fixture by a close margin of two runs.
Lalit Yadav has played 12 first-class matches so far, picking up nine wickets and scoring 570 runs. His List-A aggregate is 459 runs in 19 innings, with his List-A wicket tally being at 29.
As far as his T20 career is concerned, Lalit has taken 27 wickets in 34 innings at a fantastic economy rate of 6.86. He has amassed 560 runs in the shortest format, smashing 55 fours and 23 sixes.
IPL Career
Lalit Yadav has not played a single match in the IPL yet. He bagged his first IPL contract from the Delhi Capitals Team in the 2020 season. DC signed him up for INR 20 lakh but made him warm the benches for the entire season. Delhi have retained Lalit at the same price for IPL 2021.

Hailing from Delhi, Lalit Yadav made a name for himself by hitting six sixes in an over twice on his road to the Delhi cricket team.
