Nadir Shah was a former cricket umpire from Bangladesh. He was born on 7 February 1964 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a member of the ICC International umpire panel.
Umpire Career
In the year 2006, he made his umpiring debut in a One Day International (ODI) between Bangladesh and Kenya.
Stats
From the year 1997, Shah has umpired 86 List A cricket matches. Since 2002, he has umpired 42 First Class cricket matches. From 2006 to 2011 Shah has umpired 40 One Day International matches.
Controversies
In the year 2013, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has banned him for 10 years on charges of corruption from professional cricket. During the 2012 ICC World Twenty20, he was caught on the Indian television as Shah gave the umpire decisions on the basis of the bribe he was given.
In the year 2016, the Bangladesh Cricket Board liberated him from the ban and presently Shah is now eligible to umpire in domestic matches in Bangladesh.
