Reniece Boyce is a professional West Indian cricketer born on 3 September 1997. She is a wicket-keeper batter who bats right-handed.
She was a part of the West Indies squad for ICC Women’s World Cup 2017.
Background
She plays for the Trinidad and Tobago side in the domestic competitions in the Caribbean islands. She is one of the few cricketers to make their debut in the World Cup. She played just match in the competition.
Debut
She made her WODI debut in ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 against South Africa on 2 July at Leicester. Boyce opened the innings and scored just 4 as they were bundled out for a mere 48. The South African Women chased down the total in just 6.2 overs without losing a single wicket.
She made her WT20I debut against New Zealand Women on 14 March 2018 at Mount Maunganui. The hosts scored 167/6 in their 20 overs. The West Indian Women batted well but fell short of the target by just 8 runs. The debutant scored 12 runs off 14 balls.
