Bale played Irving Rosenfield and Vice President Dick Cheney in the films, respectively. He then lost 70 pounds for the role of iconic British race car driver Ken Miles in the 2019 film Ford V. Ferrari. Bale said that he might stop doing dramatic roles that require intense body transformation as it takes a heavy toll on his body.
