The Cure have announced an official headlining tour in the United States and Canada for the first time since their "North American Tour" in 2016. Robert Smith and the rest of the "Shows Of A Lost World Tour" will make a stop in New York City's Madison Square Garden on June 20, June 21, and June 22 for three nights of back-to-back performances. The tour has 30 shows planned.
Since their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction at Brooklyn's Barclays Center in March 2019, the new wave alt-rockers haven't played in New York. At 2023 Cure concerts, one will probably hear all their favorite hits played by bassist Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper, keyboardist Roger O'Donnell, guitarist Reeves Gabrels, and guitarist/keyboardist Perry Bamonte, who was a member of the band from 1990 to 2005.
The Scottish post-punk/indie rock band "The Twilight Sad" will perform with the goth icons during this run of shows. The 2014 album "Nobody Wants To Be Here & Nobody Wants To Leave," which gave birth to their most well-known songs, the moody "There's A Girl In The Corner," the sensation "I Could Give You All That You Don't Want," and the ethereal "Last January," made the five-member group most famous.

Who are the guests on “The Cure” 2023 Tour?
We're going back to the 1980s this year. Many of the biggest acts from MTV's heyday are going on tour in North America over the coming few months, transporting their fans back in time. The B-52s, Bruce Springsteen, Guns N' Roses, Duran Duran, Madonna, and countless others are just a few of the huge stars hitting the road.
A Flock of Seagulls, Rick Springfield, Slick Rick, Kenny G, and Billy Idol will all be performing live over the coming months, which is surprising and exciting. We have "something for everyone," so it doesn't matter if singing along to "Like A Virgin," "Welcome to the Jungle," or "Born in the U.S.A." sends you back.
