The only two couples from "Love is Blind" Season 1 who are still together as of February 2023 are Lauren and Cameron and Matt and Amber.
On February 13, 2020, "Love is Blind," a three-week Netflix event, made its debut. It is a dating reality television series created by Chris Coelen and produced by Kinetic Content. "The Bachelor" and "Married at First Sight," another Kinetic Content production, have been contrasted with the series. A reunion special for the first season aired on March 5, 2021, on Netflix and YouTube.
Below is a list of the couples that were formed during the first season of "Love is Blind," including the ones that were successful.
Diamond and Carlton
The split between Carlton and Diamond was tragic. After Carlton admitted to Diamond that he was bisexual and had previously been in relationships with men, these two were unable to travel past Mexico. Everything eventually culminated in a heated argument that included every four-letter word imaginable.
Diamond and Carlton aren't in contact right now, despite the reunion where the ex-couple appeared to mend fences and even appeared amenable to the idea of reviving their romance. "They are no longer speaking and, at this moment in time, aren’t even cordial," Women's Health was informed by a friend of the ex-couple. Carlton and Diamond are currently single.
Giannina (Gigi) and Damian
The relationship between Gigi and Damian was extremely tumultuous throughout their entire season. However, the source for the show claims that everyone involved in it assumed they would both accept on their wedding day. Instead, throughout the majority of their relationship, Damian informed Gigi that she wasn't "all in," and the two publicly ended it.
Following the filming, the couple started dating, and they publicly acknowledged their union on the reunion episode. However, the two formally severed ties in 2021. "It was a lot to process, and it was a very long breakup." In August 2021, Gigi spoke to Entertainment Tonight.
According to People, Gigi is currently dating Blake Horstmann, a former Bachelorette contestant. "They're taking things slow," a source said. "But [they] seem really happy together." On the other hand, Damian appears to be single in his Instagram posts.
Kelly and Kenny
Throughout the entire show, one of the most stable couples didn't actually end up together. Kenny agreed to be married to Kelly for all time, but when she refused, he was left standing at the altar and forced to give a touching but awkward speech to his loved ones.
The couple later disclosed that they were "adamantly not going to get married." "That was never something that we were going to do," Kenny informed ET.
Kenny and Kelly have both moved on. Kenny, who in fact recently got married, shared an image from his April wedding on Instagram. "Next Saturday, I get to marry my best friend," he wrote. "Alex and I have been overwhelmed by the love and support during our engagement." Kelly appears to be single at the moment and concentrating on herself and her career as a health and life coach.
Jessica and Mark
"He was always far more committed to her than she ever was to him," Women's Health was informed by the "Love is Blind" source, which is undoubtedly accurate after watching the conclusion. The source added that Jessica "really struggled with the Barnett storyline."
Jessica and Mark have since recovered with new, official Instagram relationships. In September 2021, Jessica and her partner Benjamin McGrath, MD, got engaged. "I don't think it has quite sunk in, but I'm definitely floating somewhere on cloud nine," Back then, Jessica spoke to People. "It's been really, really exciting!" McGrath is a foot and ankle surgeon in addition to being a father, as stated in his Instagram bio.
Mark, on the other hand, has experienced a relationship tornado since the show's conclusion. In May and June 2020, he allegedly dated Lauren "LC" Chamblin, another "Love is Blind" cast member. But when LC discovered a Reddit post titled "My close friend's coworker is dating Mark!!" revealing Mark's infidelity, the two broke it off.
Since the cheating scandal, Mark and Aubrey Rainey have become engaged. Mark declared that he and Aubrey are now "Mr. and Mrs." on Instagram. Axton, their second son, was born on February 3, 2022, after the couple got engaged in November 2020.
Lauren and Cameron
This November, Lauren and Cameron will mark their fourth wedding anniversary, and they're still going strong.
“Hangin' With the Hamiltons,” the couple's own YouTube series, features "talk about everything in our lives, the different elements that make them up." In the couple's introduction video, Cameron says: "Whether it’s our family, our friends, dinner, drinks, or cocktails, you know what I’m talking about."
Additionally, Lauren revealed that she and Cameron are thinking about having children in 2021. "I'm not pregnant, let me preface that, but we do have a little fur baby," She spoke with Us Weekly. "So, he’s our child for now, and our work is our child."
Amber and Matt
Matt and Amber are still going strong. Rumor has it that Amber now goes by Barnett (Matt’s surname). Even last year, in November, the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary with a sweet video posted on Instagram.
Amber wrote, "But seriously, Happy Anniversary to my love, @barnettisblind. This third year was definitely charmed, and judging by the pics I’d say we’ve got this kissing thing down pat! If it’s cool with you, though, I’d like to keep practicing." In the upcoming November, they will celebrate the completion of their fourth year of marriage.
