The Cincinnati Bengals currently compete in the AFC North Division of the NFL. The team has been competing in the NFL since 1968 although planning for the team had started three years prior to that. One of the most successful Cleveland Browns head coaches, Paul Brown established the team in 1967 and joined the American Football League. They played in the AFC post the 1970 merger. The Cincinnati Bengals almost won their first Super Bowl in 2022 when they faced the Los Angeles Rams in a close match-up. The Bengals do not have a very successful NFL track record in the contemporary era but budding quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase have been turning the tides in favor of the team. The Bengals are currently owned by Paul Brown’s son, Mike Brown. The franchise is currently worth $3 billion as per .

The Bengals will be looking ahead to another successful NFL season with the 2023-24 season scheculed to commence soon. The Bengals kick of their preaseason games on August 11, 2023 against the Green Bay Packers. They play their remaining preseason games against the Atalanta Falcons and the Washington Commanders.

They Bengals have their opening regular season game against the Cleveland Browns, followed by a face-off against the formidable Baltimore Ravens. A spotlight game arrives with a Tuesday night clash against the Los Angeles Rams. The Bengals will hit the road to challenge the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals. A home encounter with the Seattle Seahawks will test their mettle before a well-timed bye week. Critical road tests include battles with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals boast one of the strongest rosters in the NFL currently. Quarterback Joe Burrow has been phenomenal in the past season and has even drawn comparisons to the legendary Joe Montana. Wide Receiver Ja'Marr Chase has also been a major part of the Bengals' squad and has rose to be one of the top players in the league. Although he was limited to 12 games because of injuries last season, he still caught 87 passes with nine touchdowns making him a lethal part of the Bengals' attacking unit. DE Trey Hendrickson is another important player on the roster adding reliability to the defense along defensive tackle DJ Reader.

Pass rusher Myles Murphy was the first round pick for the Bengals this season and the former five star recruit will be looking to make an impact in his first NFL season. Other rookies like cornerback DJ Turner and safety Jordan Battle will also be looking to make it into the rotation this upcoming season.

The previous football team was named the Cincinnati Bengals since there used to be a rare white Bengal tiger in the city’s famous zoo. The current Cincinnati Bengals was named after the previous Cincinnati football team. 

The current Cincinnati Bengals home stadium is the Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. The stadium was originally known as the Paul Brown stadium. The stadium was established in 2000 and renamed to the Paycor stadium only in 2022. The Paycor Stadium is also nicknamed  ‘The Jungle’ as an allusion to being a Tiger’s natural habitat. The stadium is hinted with green colored seats throughout and can seat a total of 66,515 people.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been an instrumental part of the team since he got drafted in 2020.
