Derrick Henry is an American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 NFL season. He started his professional journey in the NFL after he was drafted by the Tennessee Titans as the 45th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He struggled for starts in his first two seasons but solidified his spot in the 2018 season, when he rushed for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns. His breakout campaign was in 2020 when he rushed for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns, becoming the eighth running back in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season, according to ESPN. He was named the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year while also earning the First-team All-Pro selection in 2020.

After eight seasons with the Titans, Henry signed a two-year $16,000,000 contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024, as per Spotrac. As of January 2025, Henry has compiled 11,423 rushing yards on 2,355 carries with 106 touchdowns, as per Pro Football Reference. Before his professional career, Henry played collegiately for the Alabama Crimson Tide under head coach Nick Saban. In his three-year stint with the program. he recorded 3,591 yards on 602 carries with 42 touchdowns and earned the 2015 Heisman Trophy in his junior campaign.
