The 5-foot-11 guard, Jewell Loyd, also known as “Gold Mamba”, was drafted as the first overall pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2015 WNBA Draft. The dynamic guard is a two-time WNBA champion (2018 and 2020) and won WNBA Commissioner Cup champion in 2021. She also won the Rookie of the Year, All-Star game MVP (2023), and the WNBA scoring title in 2023. Loyd also has more than 1000 assists in her WNBA career, becoming only the third player in Storm franchise history to do so. Besides WNBA, Jewell Loyd has had an extensive international basketball career, playing in leagues across Europe and Asia.
