Napheesa Collier is a professional basketball player for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA. She was drafted with the sixth overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx and has been with the team since 2019. She is a 4-time WNBA All-Star and also won the WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2019. She also won the 2024 Commissioner’s Cup. Collier is also a Triple Crown Champion, which means that she won in her country’s top-tier basketball competition, the primary national domestic cup as well as the top-tier European-wide continental competition in the same season.

Collier went to the University of Connecticut and won the NCAA title with the UConn Huskies in 2016. She was also a 2-time First Team All-American (2017 and 2019) and is also a 2-time WBCA Coaches’ All-American (2017 and 2019). Apart from these she also won the AAC Defensive Player of the Year as well as the AAC Tournament MVP, both in 2019. During Defensive Player of the Year winning the 2024 WNBA season, Napheesa Collier averaged 20.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.4 blocks per game as per Basketball Reference.
