American professional wrestler Brian Zachary Pillman, aka Brian Pillman Jr., was born on September 9, 1993. He is the son of the late and famed wrestler Brian William Pillman (1962-1997), making him a second-generation wrestler.
Pillman is presently under contract with WWE and competes as Lexis King on the NXT roster. He rose to prominence while participating in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) from 2019 to 2023 and Major League Wrestling (MLW) from 2018 to 2021.
In a February 2017 statement, Pillman claimed that he intended to carry on his father's wrestling tradition by competing professionally in wrestling. Lance Storm, a retired professional wrestler, trained him in Canada. Following his training, he competed in numerous independent and regional circuits until 2021.
Pillman had a tryout at the WWE Performance Center on July 16, 2023, according to PWInsider. In his vignettes, he established himself as a villain by denouncing his father and his name as a result of his untimely death; he also changed his name to Lexis King.
Videos promoting Pillman's premiere aired in September. He was formally assigned to WWE NXT at the end of August. On October 24, the first night of Halloween Havoc, he engaged in a bout and emerged victorious over Dante Chen.

The couple was reportedly going through a divorce when Pillman Sr. died, and Melanie soon afterwards became a drug addict. However, there are a few reports claiming that she was a drug addict before his death.
Due to her addition, the family had to go through a lot of financial struggle, which was difficult for the children to bear. Her children have accused her of being an absentee mother and spending all of the money they received from their father’s colleagues and WWF on drugs.
Who is Brian Pillman Jr.’s father?
American professional wrestler and football player Brian William Pillman (May 22, 1962 – October 5, 1997) is most known for his bouts in Stampede Wrestling during the 1980s and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the 1990s.
With his wrestling nickname, "The Loose Cannon," Pillman established a legend by engaging in a string of staged shoots that earned him notoriety for his unpredictable persona. A vehicle accident in April 1996 left him with severe injuries to his ankles, which reduced his ability to move quickly in the ring, which he was known for.
Before his career ended, he had collaborated with The Hart Foundation during the early stages of the Attitude Era and with his lifelong friend and former tag-team partner Stone Cold Steve Austin on a gun-related storyline. He died unexpectedly in 1997 as a result of an undiagnosed heart disease, at the age of 35.
Who is Brian Pillman Jr.’s mother?
Brian Pillman Jr.’s mother, Melanie Morgan, was a well known model in the 1990s, when she got married to Pillman Sr.
Due to Melanie's struggles with drug addiction, Pillman Jr. and Melanie had a tense relationship. Growing up, Pillman Jr. was mostly raised by his aunt Linda Pillman, his father's sister.
Pillman Jr. later revealed in an interview that he believed his mother was faking to be grieving during her infamous interview with Vince McMahon on WWE Raw is War, one day after his father passed away. At the time, their marriage was already going through a divorce, and he felt that his mother was just looking for a pay day for drugs.
In contrast to the majority of wrestling fans and the media, Pillman Jr. praised WWE for attempting to provide as much financial support as possible for him and his sisters, and he did not hold the company responsible for the somewhat insensitive interview with his mother.
Brittany, the daughter of Pillman, stated in 2017 that Melanie used all of the money that wrestlers and the WWF gave to support Pillman's family for her drug addition and that Skylar King, her half-sister, is not actually the biological daughter of Pillman but rather the child of another man that Melanie married soon after Pillman passed away.
After Pillman Jr.'s wrestling career began, their relationship got better, and she began to regularly show up during his live Twitch streams and tell him stories about his father. According to Pillman, Melanie was discovered dead on June 1, 2022, at the age of 56, from what appeared to be a drug overdose.
