American professional wrestler Brian Zachary Pillman, aka Brian Pillman Jr., was born on September 9, 1993. Being a second generation wrestler, he is the son of the late and renowned wrestler Brian Pillman (1962–1997).
Pillman competes as Lexis King on the NXT roster and is currently under contract with WWE. He became well-known while competing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) during 2019-2023 and Major League Wrestling (MLW) during 2018-2021.
In an announcement made in February 2017, Pillman stated that he intended to continue his father's wrestling legacy by competing professionally in wrestling. In Canada, he was trained by retired professional wrestler Lance Storm. Following his training, he participated in a wide range of independent and regional circuits until 2021.
On July 16, 2023, PWInsider reported that Pillman had a tryout at the WWE Performance Center. In his vignettes, he established himself as a heel by criticizing Brian Pillman Sr. and his name due to his premature death; he also changed his name to Lexis King.
In September, videos promoting Pillman's debut began to air. In late August, he was officially assigned to WWE NXT. He fought in his first match on October 24, the opening night of Halloween Havoc, and defeated Dante Chen.
