American professional wrestler Brian Zachary Pillman, better known by his ring name Brian Pillman Jr., was born on September 9, 1993. He currently holds a WWE contract, and he competes as Lexis King on the NXT brand.
Pillman gained notoriety during his tenures in Major League Wrestling (MLW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is the son of the legendary late wrestler Brian Pillman (1962–1997) and a wrestler of the second generation.
Pillman declared in February 2017 that he would be entering the professional wrestling ring to carry on his father's legacy. Lance Storm provided him with training at the Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After that, he competed in wrestling on independent circuits until 2021.
According to a report from PWInsider on July 16, 2023, Pillman had a tryout at the WWE Performance Center. Although he changed his name to Lexis King, a second incarnation of his "Alex King" name, and acknowledged his ties to his father, he established himself as a heel in his vignettes by denouncing him and his name because of his early death.
Pillman was officially assigned to NXT in late August, and videos promoting his debut started airing in September. On October 24, the first night of Halloween Havoc, he participated in his first match and won over Dante Chen.
