Saquon Rasul Quevis Barkley is an NFL running back who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL season. The New York Giants selected Saquon Barkley with the second overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft. However, in March 2024, Barkley decided to join the Giants' division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. He received two Pro Bowl selections, in 2018 and 2022. It is incredible and broke multiple records because he was chosen for the Pro Bowl the same year he was drafted.

Barkley, a four-star prospect, turned down several invitations to attend Pennsylvania State University from 2015 to 2017. He spent three seasons breaking multiple school records for offensive performance before forgoing his final year to play in the NFL. In 2017, Barkley finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy vote and third in the Maxwell Award voting, among other national and Big Ten Conference awards and recognitions. He concluded his collegiate career with all-purpose yards (5,038), career rushing touchdowns (43), and career receiving yards (1,195) (via Sports Reference).

His parents moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 2001, seeking a better life for their children after being homeless for most of the previous year. The family moved to Coplay, Pennsylvania, later in 2005.
