Jonathan Allen plays defensive tackle for the Washington Commanders in the NFL. The Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders ) drafted Allen in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft with their 17th pick. In the 2023 season, Allen started 16 games and he recorded 5.5 sacks and 53 total tackles. In 2022, Allen recorded two sacks and 63 total tackles and was voted into his second consecutive Pro Bowl. In 2022, he was ranked 88th by his fellow players on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022. Unfortunately, the two-time Pro Bowler tore his left pectoral muscle in week 6 and will miss the remainder of the 2024 NFL season.
