Aaron Gordon is a professional basketball player from the United States who plays for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He was born on September 16, 1995, in San Jose, California. During his time at Archbishop Mitty High School, he guided his team to two state championships and received the title of California Mr. Basketball both in his junior and senior years (2012 and 2013).

Gordon spent one-year playing college basketball at the University of Arizona, where he earned accolades as Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and secured a position on the First-team All-Pac-12. He was picked fourth overall by the Orlando Magic during the 2014 NBA Draft and made his initial appearance in an NBA game with that team. He remained with Orlando until 2021 before transferring to the Denver Nuggets.
