Born on June 3, 1986, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, Al-Horford is a professional basketball player who plays as a Center for the Boston Celtics in the NBA. He went to the University of Florida where he played college basketball and was selected as the 3rd overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Boston Celtics.
