The Hawks eventually traded him to the New York Knicks in January 2022. Just a year later, he found himself on the move again, this time to the Portland Trail Blazers in February 2023.

However, during the 2023 free agency, the Los Angeles Lakers decided to bring him on board. The Lakers recognized his potential as a great 3-and-D role player who could be a perfect complementary piece alongside LeBron James.

Cam Reddish's journey is a testament to resilience and adaptability in the ever-changing landscape of professional basketball, and his future with the Lakers is filled with the promise of continued growth and success.
