Dean Wade is an American professional basketball player who plays as a backup power forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Born on November 20, 1996, in Wichita, Kansas, Wade played for St. John high school, where he won three state championships.

Prior to his NBA career, Wade played four seasons of college ball at Kansas State, where he made the first team All-Big 12 twice. He averaged 12.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in college and led his team to the Big 12 regular season championship in his senior season.

After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, Wade was signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers on a two-way contract. He spent most of his rookie season in the G League playing for the Canton Charge, averaging 14.2 points and 7.6 rebounds on 46.1% shooting from the field. In July 2020, Wade signed a multi-year deal with the Cavs.

In the 2023/24 season, Wade made career-high starts (32), and averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds. He led the Cavs to the victory over the Boston Celtics in the regular season, scoring 20 points on 5-5 from deep in the fourth quarter. He became the fifth Cavs player in history to score 20 points in the fourth quarter.
