DeMar DeRozan is an American basketball player who plays for the Chicago Bulls. Born on August 7, 1989, DeRozan is known for his lethal mid-range shooting.

Hailing from Compton, California, DeRozan's journey to NBA stardom started at Compton High School. He was a five-star recruit in the class of 2008, and eventually played at the University of Southern California (USC). He had an outstanding freshman season at USC as the university eventually retired his No. 10 Trojans jersey.

DeRozan was selected 9th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. He has since also played for the San Antonio Spurs, and now the Chicago Bulls.

Throughout his journey, DeRozan has solidified his status as one of the league's premier players. He is a six-time NBA All-Star and has been part of the All-NBA Second Team in 2018 and 2022.

In the 2022/2023 season, DeRozan averaged 24.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
