Kentavious Tannell Caldwell-Pope is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets. He plays at the position of shooting guard for his team and is currently playing his 8th NBA season.

He was born and brought up in Georgia, US and went to Greenville for his high school where he was a highly prospect player and after an excellent high school career Pope went to the University of Georgia for his college basketball and played there. During his sophomore season he was awarded SEC player of the Year in 2013. Then, completing the two years of college basketball, he was selected as the 8th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.

His contribution to the team has made the Denver Nuggets the Western Conference champions and advances them to the NBA finals of 2023.

He has won one NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 season, by helping the Lakers in the two point shooting and defending the strong offensive players. Moreover, Pope also represented the United States basketball team in several tournaments, including the FIBA BAsketball World Cup in 2019.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been playing in the NBA since 2013. He joined the Denver Nuggets in 2022 in a two-year contract extension worth USD 30.0 million. This contract makes him the fifth best paid player for the Denver Nuggets this season earning an annual average salary of USD 14.0 million. The contract will last till the 2024-25 season.
