Kobe Brown is an American professional basketball player who plays for the LA Clippers in the NBA. Hailing from Huntsville, Alabama, Brown attended Lee High School where he averaged 24.1 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game as a senior. He was named as the Huntsville Region Player of the Year.

As a four-star rated athlete, Brown then played college basketball at Missouri from 2019 to 2023, where he excelled both on and off the court. As a senior, Brown was honored as a first-team All-SEC selection and the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

In the 2023 NBA Draft, Brown was selected by the Clippers with the 30th overall pick. During the 2023 NBA Summer League, he was one of two players named Kobe, both vying to carry on the legacy of Kobe Bryant.

Brown’s rookie season with the Clippers involved the usual adjustments to the NBA, and in limited playing time off the bench, he averaged 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds.
