In 2017, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls and then signed with the Atlanta Hawks in 2020. He was waived in 2021 and then joined the Agua Caliente Clippers in January 2022. After two months, in March, he signed a 10-day contract with the Portland Trailer Blazers. The next season played with the Utah Jazz, and the one after it, with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was also named for the 2016 Consensus second-team All-American. In his four seasons of college, he has played in 95 games, starting 83, averaging 12.8 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.1 rebounds.

Who are Kris Dunn's parents?

Kris Dunn’s parents are John and Audra Dunn. Kris also has an older brother, John, one stepbrother, Rashad Pauley and two stepsisters, Ashley and Ariana Seldon. Kris was born to Pia, who fled with Kris and John when Kris was a year old, as per USA Today. However, there is no professional information available about John, Audra or Pia.

The children were taken from their Connecticut home and fled to Alexandria, Virginia, by Dunn's biological mother, Pia. During the boys' early years, Pia was frequently in legal trouble, typically spending a day or two behind bars for relatively minor infractions like writing fraudulent checks, driving while intoxicated, or credit card fraud. When Pia was imprisoned for months, the conflict grew more intense. At first, the boys didn't tell anyone because they were afraid of being taken away and separated. They hustled to get the money they needed to survive, with Kris challenging local youths to one-on-one basketball games and John gambling with dice. (via USA Today and Boston)

The boys' father, John Seldon, lived more than 350 miles north and had experienced his own misery after discovering Pia had fled with his sons. Seldon searched for his family for the following eight years, but the courts did little to help him.Pia called Seldon out of the blue in a desperate attempt to acquire her son the necessities, which allowed John to travel up to Connecticut to see his father again and come home with clothes and other items. John later took the kids’ legal custody. (via the USA Today).
