Born on April 19, 1999, in Montreal, Canada, Luguentz Dort is a Canadian professional basketball player who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Dort’s basketball journey began in the Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario, where he emerged as a five-star recruit. For college, he committed to playing basketball for Arizona State University, where he averaged 16.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in 34 appearances. He was named to the Second-team All-Pac-12, and Pac-12 All-Defensive Team, and won the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2019.
