Norman Powell is a versatile basketball player who plays as a shooting guard and small forward for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA. Born on May 25, 1993, Powell is one of the premier sixth men in the NBA.

Raised in San Diego, California, Powell's basketball journey started when he was inspired to play basketball by his uncle, Raymond Edwards. Powell soon became a four-star athlete at Lincoln High School and his performances caught the eye of collegiate programs across the nation. Choosing to further his education and basketball career at UCLA, Powell spent four transformative years playing for the Bruins.

Eventually, Norman Powell was selected as the 46th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, and his draft rights were quickly traded to the Toronto Raptors, setting the stage for his NBA journey.

During his early years in the NBA, Powell made an immediate impact on the Toronto Raptors' offense, earning recognition as the NBA Rookie of the Month for the Eastern Conference in April 2016.
