Norman Powell is a professional basketball player in the NBA who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Clippers. Powell was born on May 25, 1993 in San Diego, California.
Powell’s basketball journey began at Lincoln High School in San Diego, and he later played four seasons at UCLA. As a senior, he averaged 16.4 points per game and made the All-Pac-12 First Team. In the 2015 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks selected Powell with the 46th overall pick. However, his draft rights were subsequently traded to the Toronto Raptors.
Over six seasons with the Raptors, Powell developed into a great off-the bench offensive spark. His highlight came in the 2018/19 season, when he helped the franchise win their first ever championship.
