On November 15, 2014, Covington's perseverance paid off when he signed a reported five-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Since then, he has established himself as one of the premier 3-and-D role players in the NBA, known for his defensive prowess and sharpshooting abilities.

Today, Covington's success story serves as a testament to the power of determination and resilience.
