Thomas Bryant is an American professional basketball player who currently plays as center for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Before the NBA, Bryant played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers from 2015 to 2017. In 69 games in college, Bryant averaged 12.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

After his sophomore season, Bryant declared for the 2017 NBA Draft, where he was selected 42nd overall by the Utah Jazz. However, his draft rights were later traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bryant spent his rookie NBA season splitting time between the Lakers and their G League affiliate. He eventually earned the starting center position when he was traded to the Washington Wizards in his second season. In his four seasons with the Wizards, Bryant averaged 11.0 points and 6.2 rebounds.

After four years in Washington, Bryant returned to the Lakers by signing a one-year contract as a free agent in 2022. He emerged as a dependable role player that season, averaging 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Lakers off the bench. In 2023, Bryant was traded to the Denver Nuggets, where he got a chance to be part of a championship winning team.

Now in his seventh NBA season at age 26, Bryant is currently on a two-year contract with the Heat.
