Tyler Herro is a professional basketball player who plays for the Miami Heat in the NBA as of February 2025. Herro was drafted as the 13th overall pick by the Miami Heat in the 2019 NBA Draft. Herro started playing basketball at Whitnall High School and scored more than 2,000 points in during his high school career. After high school, Herro selected the University of Wisconsin. However, after John Calipari's (head coach of the University of Kentucky) visit to see Herro's game, Herro committed to playing with the University of Kentucky. In the University Herro played only for one season, averaging 14.0 points, and 4.5 rebounds per game. In 2019, Herro declared his name for the NBA Draft.

After getting selected by the Miami Heat, Herro has been playing for the same team for five seasons and is a key member of the team that has led them to every playoff in these past seasons.
