Ausar Thompson (born January 30, 2003) is a professional basketball player for the Overtime City Reapers of the Overtime Elite (OTE). While playing basketball for Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he was a five-star prospect according to ESPN and won a state title. Thompson skipped his senior year of high school to play for OTE for two seasons.
He grew up with his brother Amen Thompson in San Leandro, California.

Ausar Thompson was born in San Leandro, California to Maya Wilson and Troy Thompson. Amen, his identical twin brother, is an NBA prospect, while Troy Jr., his older brother, played collegiate basketball for Prairie View A&M.
Ausar and Amen are wholeheartedly supported by their parents and want them to excel in the game of basketball. Both the parents have committed countless hours towards driving, nurturing, and motivating them towards the game and life in general.

Ausar Thompson is Amen Thompson's identical twin brother. Both Amen and Ausar Thompson are currently among the top basketball players in the country, if not the globe.
The brothers presently compete in the Overtime Elite, a basketball league for basketball players aged sixteen to twenty. The OTE league is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The Thompson brothers are being considered first-round picks, with Amen being mentioned as a possible third-overall pick after Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson.
Amen has an elder brother called Troy Thompson Jr. in addition to his immediate twin Ausar. Troy Jr was a Prairie View A&M Panthers player.
