Zach LaVine is an explosive shooting guard who plays for the Chicago Bulls. Born on March 10, 1995, LaVine is known for his athleticism and highlight-reel plays.

Hailing from Renton, Washington, LaVine was recognized as a five-star athlete at Bothell High School and spent a season at UCLA before entering the NBA. It was evident that he possessed a rare combination of athleticism and shooting ability that would soon make waves on the NBA stage.

Drafted 13th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2014, LaVine quickly gained fame for his insane gravity-defying dunks. He eventually participated in the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend’s Slam Dunk Contest and ended up winning it.

Next season, LaVine faced Aaron Gordon in a historic 2016 Slam Dunk Contest, which had some truly jaw-dropping memorable dunks. He ended up winning the Slam Dunk contest yet again in 2016, becoming only the fourth NBA player ever to win consecutive Slam Dunk Contests.

Traded to the Bulls in 2017, LaVine elevated his game to All-star level as he displayed improved shooting and established himself as a knockdown off-the-ball shooter. He soon became Bulls’ franchise player and earned two NBA All-Star nods in 2021 and 2022. He has the second-most 40-point games in Bulls history after the legendary Michael Jordan.

In the 2022-2023 season, he had impressive averages of 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
