Carson Beck is a dual-threat quarterback who plays for the Georgia Bulldogs, as of 2024. He will be redshirted as a sophomore during the 2024 season. Beck’s hometown is in Jacksonville, Florida, and began his football career at Mandarin High School. Throughout his playing career, Beck has achieved numerous personal records, including 439 passing yards against Alabama in 2024 and five touchdown passes against Tennessee Tech in 2024. He has also recorded both 29 completions and 39 attempts in a single game, against Vanderbilt in 2023. Beck's longest pass was 67 yards against Alabama in 2024. Other notable feats accomplished by him throughout his playing career include a 20 rushing yard long against South Carolina in 2022 and a game-long 40-yard touchdown pass in the 2024 Aflac Kickoff Game against Clemson.

Carson Beck began his collegiate football career at the University of Georgia in 2020. Beck played as a rotational quarterback for the team through the 2021 and 2022 seasons. During the 2021 season, Beck played four games and registered 176 yards for 2 touchdowns. In 2022, he played seven games, throwing for 310 yards and four touchdowns. In 2023, Beck emerged to take the starting quarterback position, playing all 14 games, leading Georgia's offense with 3,941 passing yards and 20 touchdowns. The 2023 season was decisive for Beck’s career, he earned a spot in the Coaches All-SEC Second Team and was a finalist for the Manning Award.
