
Deone Walker is an American football defensive tackle who played three seasons with the Kentucky Wildcats. The defensive tackle was born on March 11, 2004, in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Deone Walker attended Cass Technical High School, and apart from playing football, he also played basketball. During his junior year in high school, Walker made 28 with 13 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and three forced fumbles. In his senior year, the 6 ft 6-inch player had 43 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and six sacks while playing in seven games. Walker was rated a four-star recruit upon graduating high school.
Walker committed to the Kentucky Wildcats in 2021 and became a starter three games into his freshman year as a member of the defensive line rotation in the college team. In addition to this, the defensive tackle was also a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Award. In 2023, Walker was named one of the team captains and recorded a career-high 55 combo tackles. Last season as a junior, Walker tallied 37 tackles and 1.5 sacks while starting in all 11 games, according to the Wildcats' roster page.
