Jalen Milroe, an American college football player who will be playing his junior year with the Alabama Crimson Tide is regarded as one the top quarterbacks in college football. Milroe started his high school career at Tompkins High School where he led the team to a 9-0 record and recorded 1,136 passing yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior year. He concluded his prep career with 3,825 passing yards, 559 rushing yards, and 53 total touchdowns. Milroe was rated a four-star prospect and was selected to participate in the 2021 All-America Game. Milroe initially committed to join in-state Texas but flipped his commitment to start his collegiate football journey with Alabama Crimson Tide. He also received offers from top programs like Arizona, Arizona State, Florida State, Houston, Ole Miss, Oregon, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech among others.

In his freshman season, Milroe appeared in only four games and redshirted the year. In 2022 as a redshirt freshman, Milroe was named the backup for the second consecutive as he appeared in eight games with only one start. During the year, he recorded 297 passing yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Last season, Milroe enjoyed a breakthrough campaign where he led the Crimson Tide to a 12-1 record and the SEC championship. The four-star athlete from Katy started in all 13 games and recorded 2,834 passing yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. In 2024, Milroe has returned as the starting quarterback for the Tide for the second successive year.
