Kaidon Salter’s Career

Salter transferred to Liberty to pursue his career after being fired by Tennessee. In week nine of the 2021 season, Salter made his collegiate debut by helping Liberty defeat UMass and completing his first pass for a touchdown. Salter ran for 53 yards and went one for two on his passes for 39 yards and a touchdown at the end of the 2021 season.

Salter completed 87 of his 149 passing attempts for 1,088 yards, eight touchdowns, and five interceptions at the end of the 2022 season. On the ground, Salter also added two touchdowns and 285 yards.

Salter broke several records during his incredible 2023 season. He recorded two passing games with 300 yards against Buffalo and New Mexico State and seven games with 225 yards or more.
