Miller Moss is an American football quarterback who plays for the USC Trojans of the Big Ten Conference, as of May 2024. He was a four-star prospect coming out of Alemany High School and was ranked the fifth-best quarterback in the class of 2021 by 247Sports.
Moss was a star player for Alemany in his junior season where he tallied for 3,118 yards and 28 touchdowns and earned Los Angeles Offensive Player of the Year award for his outstanding contribution. Moss is a pure pocket passer with one of the quickest releases in the nation.
Moss was the No.37 ranked prospect when he embarked on his collegiate football journey with Trojans and had offers from nearly every major college program including UCLA, Louisiana State, Auburn, Georgia and Alabama among others in 2021. In 2021 after graduating early from his school, Moss saw action in only two games as a freshman for the Trojans and completed eight passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
After appearing in only two games in his redshirt freshman season, Moss saw action in five games each in his sophomore and junior year as backup for Trojans’ starting quarterback Caleb Williams. He patiently waited for three seasons to start a game at the quarterback position for the Trojans in a matchup against Louisville Cardinals.
In limited action in 2023, Moss dashed for 681 yards and 7 TDs while seeing action in only five games. Moss, who still has two years of eligibility remaining, leads the USC quarterback race in 2024.
