Cleveland Joseph "Tre" Harris III is a college football wide receiver, playing for the Ole Miss Rebels college football team. Harris attended Ovey Comeaux High School, where he played both, football and basketball. Initially playing as a quarterback, he transitioned to wide receiver when he committed to Louisiana Tech University. One of Harris's standout performances came when he achieved the remarkable feat of going 11-for-11 passing for 262 yards and two touchdowns in a single game. Additionally, he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns, highlighting his dual-threat capability as both a passer and a runner. These performances earned him recognition as the Prep Football Player of the Week by the Lafayette Daily Advertiser, showcasing his impact on the field during his senior year.

Harris began his collegiate career at Louisiana Tech in 2020. During his true freshman year, he participated in seven games but recorded only one reception for 20 yards. In 2021, he became the team's second-leading receiver with 40 receptions for 562 yards and four touchdowns over 12 games, nine of which he started. His performance continued to improve in 2022 when he caught 65 passes for 935 yards and ten touchdowns, earning first-team All-Conference USA honors. Throughout his time at Louisiana Tech, Harris compiled impressive statistics: he played in 31 games, starting 21 of them, and amassed a total of 1,529 receiving yards with 14 touchdowns. After three successful years, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and transferred to Ole Miss in December 2022. On his debut with Ole Miss in the season opener against Mercer on September 2, 2023, he set an Ole Miss record by scoring four touchdowns in a single game while accumulating 133 receiving yards. This performance immediately established him as a key player for the Rebels. He was recognized as one of the top transfer players nationally by Pro Football Focus.

Notably, against LSU on September 30, he recorded eight receptions for a career-high 153 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown in a thrilling victory. He has accumulated impressive stats: leading the team with 985 receiving yards and eight touchdowns from 54 receptions over twelve games. His ability to consistently perform at a high level has placed him among the top receivers in the SEC, ranking fifth in receiving yards per game and fourth in touchdown receptions.
