Zane Flores is a college football quarterback currently plying his trade with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He kick-started his high school football career at the Gretna High School where he was ranked the second-best player from Nebraska by 247Sports. He spent four years at Gretna as the starting quarterback and led the Dragons to the State Championship game as a senior. In his senior year, Flores totaled 3,117 passing yards and 31 touchdowns while also rushing for 274 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2023, he was announced as the 2022-233 Gatorade Player of the Year from Nebraska along with the 2022 MaxPreps Nebraska Player of the Year honour.

Flores concluded his high school career as the all-time passing leader in Gretna’s history with 9,163 passing yards. The 6-foot-4 quarterback embarked on his collegiate football journey with the Oklahoma State Cowboys over offers from Nebraska, Oregon State, Kansas, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Notre Dame among others. As a freshman in 2023 with the Cowboys, Flores did not see any action on the field and redshirted the season. The following season Flores will compete with Alan Bowman for the starting quarterback role at Oklahoma State.
