Babar Azam is the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team across all three formats of the game. Babar, who is touted to be the best all-format player in modern times, has an estimated net worth of up to $ 5 million (INR 41 crore).

Babar Azam PCB Salary

The Pakistan captain is one of the three players to receive an ‘A’ Grade three-year contract by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the 2023/24 season. Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi are the other two players to bag the elite contracts from the PCB. The players are set to take home PKR 3 million (INR 13.14 Lakh); a 202% hike over their previous monthly remuneration.

In addition to this, the players will be awarded PKR 1.25 million ($4358) for a Test, PKR 644,620 ($2247.70)for an ODI, and PKR 418.584 ($1459) for every T20I.

Babar Azam PSL Salary

Babar was one of those players slotted in the Silver category of the inaugural draft of the Pakistan Super League. Players signed in this category would somewhat fetch a contract of $25,000 (Rs 20 lakh approx). In the following season in 2017, Babar was promoted to the Gold category, which paid $50,000 (Rs 40 lakh approx) and in 2018 his progress continued to march in the Diamond category, which fetched him $70,000 (Rs 56 lakh approx).

Babar made massive strides when he jumped into the apex category - The Platinum - which would earn him $130,000 (Rs 1.03 crore approx). The Karachi Kings captain was retained in the top-most category in the last three seasons between 2020-2022.

Babar earned a superbike as a reward for his marvellous performance against the West Indies in 2018, which was his award as the Player of the Series. Babar also rides Yamaha R1 whose price in India, as per bikewale, is Rs 20 lakh. The Pakistan captain also owns a luxury bike BMW RR 310, which costs between Rs 2.85 lakh to Rs 3 lakh depending on the model.
