Mitchell Marsh is a professional cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for the Australian men’s cricket team across all formats of international cricket. Born on October 20, 1991, in Attadale, Perth, Marsh bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. As of December 2024, Marsh is the captain of the Australian T20I team.
He is the son of former Australian cricketer Geoffrey Marsh and the younger brother of former Australian opener Shaun Marsh. According to the official website of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Marsh will play for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025.

According to Cricket Australia’s official website, Mitchell Marsh’s contract was upgraded along with Josh Hazlewood in 2015-16. He was retained by CA for 2016-17 along with his brother Shaun Marsh. Even before making his international debut, Mitchell Marsh received his maiden IPL contract from the now-defunct Deccan Chargers in IPL 2010.
