Tim David was born in Singapore on 16 March 1996, but grew up in Perth, Australia. The 26-year-old plays for Singapore national cricket team and made his international debut on 22 July 2019 against Qatar.
The Singaporean-Australian cricketer although has appeared less frequent for the national team, he is a busy player in terms of T20 domestic tournaments. He featured in almost every nation’s domestic leagues and has plied his trade in Australia, India, England, and Pakistan.

Tim David’s father, Rod David is an ex-Singapore international and represented the country in the 1997 ICC World Cup qualifier, a tournament that was eventually won by Bangladesh. Apart from representing his country in cricket, Tim’s father also used to work as an engineer.
Speaking about his father in an exclusive interview with Forbes, Tim revealed:
“I grew up seeing pics of my dad playing for Singapore and that partly fueled my passion for cricket. Our family holidays used to often be in Singapore, so I felt connected to the place.”
