Oscar Piastri's Family

Born on April 6, 2001, Oscar Jack Piastri is an Australian racing driver who competes in Formula One for team McLaren. Piastri has won two Grand Prix - the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix and the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Before Formula One, Piastri held the championships for the 2021 FIA Formula 2, the 2020 FIA Formula 3, and the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup. Piastri is the only driver to win three championships consecutively directly under Formula One.

Piastri made his Formula One debut in 2023, at the Bahrain Grand Prix. He was a member of the Alpine Academy from 2020 to 2021, and later signed with McLaren in 2023, partnering with Lando Norris. In 2024, Piastri won the 2024 constructor’s championship with McLaren. He has 46 entries in Formula One so far and has won two Grand Prix with 10 podiums to his name and three fastest laps. Before his McLaren days, Piastri was appointed as the Alpine F1 Team and McLaren's reserve driver for the 2022 Formula One season. Following a contractual dispute between Alpine and Piastri, Piastri replaced Daniel Ricciardo for the 2023 Formula One season.
