About AdventHealth 400
Kansas City will be hosting its first race of the season. It received a second race in spring after NASCAR’s schedule realignment in 2011. Denny Hamlin has come out of the Dover Motor Speedway with a fresh win and he will be looking forward to winning the first race at the Kansas Motor Speedway.
He has been on a roll in the 2024 Cup Series winning three races and becoming the only driver to win multiple races except William Byron (as of April 2024). Hamlin has received a lot of criticism this year on account of his feuds with other drivers, including boos in the victory lane.
The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series has seen the performers from the 2023 Cup Series season rise up again in 2024 to claim their spots in the Playoffs. The season has seen seven playoff qualifiers and winners. The first Crown Jewel race of the season, Daytona 500 was won by William Byron who went on to score two more victories later on. The race at the tri-oval of Kansas will give way to the middle-half of the season which features the longest and fastest races on the NASCAR calendar.
