Cameron Davis

Cameron Davis is a renowned professional golfer hailing from Australia. He was born in Sydney on February 21, 1995, and has been passionate about golf since early childhood. Over time, he honed his skills and became a highly competitive player on the PGA Tour. Davis' tireless work ethic, boundless energy, and relentless pursuit of perfection have catapulted him to unprecedented heights in his career.

Davis had a successful amateur career, winning the Australian Amateur in 2015 and securing the second position in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, finishing behind Jin Cheng. Additionally, he was a part of the Australian team that emerged victorious in the Eisenhower Trophy in Mexico in 2016, with Davis emerging as the individual winner. The Australian squad won the team event by 19 strokes, and Davis managed to finish the individual event two strokes ahead of fellow Australian, Curtis Luck.

Davis made his professional debut in late 2016 and participated in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba on the PGA Tour, finishing tied for 15th position.

Davis secured a spot on the 2017 PGA Tour Canada after finishing fourth in Q-school. He made a decent start by finishing 14th in his debut tournament, the Freedom 55 Financial Open. However, he had a poor season, concluding at the 76th position on the tour's rankings, which meant he lost his card. He clinched the Emirates Australian Open title in November, winning by a stroke over Jonas Blixt and Matt Jones, thanks to his final-round 64. This victory led him to qualify automatically for the 2018 Open Championship as part of the Open Qualifying Series.

Davis also had Web.com Tour status for 2018 after making it to the last round of Q School despite starting at the First Stage. Davis won the 2018 Nashville Golf Open and finished seventh on the Web.com Tour money list to earn a spot on the PGA Tour. Davis struggled on the PGA Tour in 2018-2019, finishing 160th on the FedEx Cup points list. However, he bounced back to finish 84th in the 2019-20 season.

In July 2021, Davis secured his first PGA Tour title by winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic after defeating Troy Merritt and Joaqun Niemann in a playoff. He finished the season ranked 37th in the FedEx Cup points standings. In the 2022 Presidents Cup held at the Quail Hollow Club in September 2022, Davis was selected to play for the International team. He played all five matches, winning two and losing three.
