Matthieu Pavon Parents

Matthieu Pavon is a French professional golfer born on November 2, 1992. He became well-known after winning the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open. Pavon became the first French golfer to win on the PGA Tour since 1907. Pavon started his professional career in 2013 and has six victories as of April 2024.

Pavon made his professional debut on the Alps Tour in 2014 and 2015. He went on to win the Rebetz International Open and the Servizitalia Open in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Pavon won the Farmers' Insurance Open by one stroke over Nicolai Häjgaard in January 2024. With this victory, he became the first Frenchman to win the PGA Tour since Arnaud Massy's 1907 Open title, after being recognized as a PGA Tour winner. In February, he finished third at the A&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California. He earned $1.36 million and finished at 15-under-par, two strokes behind winner Wyndham Clark.
